Help Flash lanza la iniciativa "coche seguro"

At Help Flash, we've been working on a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project for company vehicle fleets, which will be awarded the "Safe Car Seal."

What is the "Safe Car Seal"?

This initiative, promoted by Help Flash , aims to equip company and fleet vehicles with this illuminated signaling device , improving employee safety while traveling. It also makes vehicles equipped with this equipment visible through an adhesive seal. The seal reinforces the company's image in its commitment to workplace road safety and, at the same time, spreads interest in the project developed by Help Flash among other potential users.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

A concept introduced by the European Commission in the 1990s with the aim of encouraging businesses to orient their corporate model toward the active improvement of society and the environment. In current practice , Corporate Social Responsibility refers to the strategies companies implement to positively impact not only the environment and society, but also their customers and employees.

Occupational road safety: a tool for preventing traffic accidents.

Worker mobility is an occupational risk factor , which is increasingly being considered by companies, including road safety in their occupational risk prevention plans. After all, work-related travel accounts for a large part of the daily mobility generated, increasing the risk of traffic accidents in this context. In general, such accidents would be considered occupational accidents, in accordance with the provisions of Article 156 of the Consolidated Text of the General Social Security Law. Therefore, it is important to act to prevent them from the different stakeholders involved: administrations, companies, and workers. For companies, the development of a road safety plan , which includes the planning of measures and strategies in this regard, allows, among other benefits, to create a culture of preventing traffic accidents and ensuring worker mobility, as well as increasing workers' awareness of road safety, reducing their exposure to risk, and improving their road safety.

The numbers.

In 2018, there were 617,488 work-related accidents resulting in sick leave, of which 11.6% were traffic accidents, representing approximately 197 accidents per day. Of the 725 fatal work-related accidents, 35.8% were due to this same cause, resulting in a very dire statistic: one in three fatal work-related accidents is caused by traffic. If we add to these figures that 70% of fatal traffic accidents occur at dusk or at night , and 90% of them occur on roads with insufficient lighting, the need to implement efficient signaling systems for these situations seems evident. Current accident signaling systems do not prioritize the safety of vehicle occupants; they are inefficient , as they require several minutes to install; and their use is limited for people with reduced mobility and users of two-wheeled vehicles.

The solution.

With Help Flash, we solve the problems encountered with traditional methods. The device allows you to signal your vehicle in a matter of seconds without having to leave it , drastically reducing the risk of being hit by a vehicle when exiting the vehicle to report the incident. It is a V16 signal approved and authorized by the DGT (Directorate-General for Traffic) , whose speed and ease of use make it ideal for these types of stressful situations. Furthermore, its cutting-edge technology and high performance make you visible from up to 1 km away.
