Netun Solutions , due to its Help Flash project, was recognized in the category of best startup at the Mindtech Startup Europe Awards (SEUA) promoted by Asime , Associação de Industriais Metalúrgicos da Galiza, and with the collaboration of the Xunta de Galicia .

The project was awarded for its great social impact in the field of road safety , allowing it to reduce the number of deaths due to road accidents.
The Help Flash device to signal incidents on the roads and contact the emergency services without needing to evacuate the vehicle is a safer and more efficient alternative to the pre-signal triangles.
The awards
The awards, delivered no later than September 10 during the inaugural session of the Mindtech fair, a reference for the industrial sector in Vigo, are organized in collaboration with the StartUp Europe Awards (SEUA) , an open innovation initiative of the European Commission implemented by the Finnova Foundation , which includes or support of the President of the European Parliament , or President of the Regional Committee , or Vice-President of the European Economic and Social Committee and various members of the European Parliament .
We also constitute an open innovation tool to promote public-private partnerships that improve the quality of life of two cities thanks to innovative projects. Finally, we presented a check from Startup Europe Accelerator , with the objective of raising awareness about the project at a European level, as well as helping to understand how the European Union works, European legislation and how to participate in European funds.
O futuro do projeto
The CEO of Netun Solutions , Jorge Costas , appreciates each recognition “because it is the result of the intense work that we are doing in the company, but when it comes to institutions of such magnitude, it is even more satisfying.” Além disso, assures that this is a very important step in the right direction “to help improve road safety not only in Spain but also at a global level.”
The person responsible for the legal area of Finnova, Juan Manuel Revuelta , reports on the importance that the Netun Solutions acceleration check “is intended to promote an alteration in legislation at the European level that allows saving lives.” It also highlights that the legislative models made in Spain could inspire other countries.
In this sense, the Finnova Foundation urges a question to parley on a possible alteration in legislation, not that it says respect for the law, to save the lives of two Europeans, in the hearing of the Health Commission held at the European Parliament in Brussels on the 1st of October. The appointed commissioner, Stella Kyriakides , appeared before the parliamentary committee and the committees responsible for health care, to discuss important issues in this respect.
This initiative seeks to raise awareness on an issue of both public health and road safety , since in the EU it is estimated that around 2,000 deaths will occur just by leaving the vehicle to place the mandatory pressure triangle. The Help Flash device is an alternative that can prevent more accidents, as well as save lives , giving greater visibility and safety on the road.
